It’s not always easy to get a big group together, right? But don’t worry - that’s exactly why we have Bauer Uwes Garden in the northeast of the festival grounds. Here, you can arrive on different days and easily come together as a group.

Approx. 6 x 8 meter plots: Clearly marked on a grassy field - you can’t miss them.
Ultimate flexibility: Book multiple plots and arrive whenever you like, as long as you have a valid Access Pass for the day.

BAUER UWE REALLY EXISTED

Uwe Trede was our first supporter in Wacken. He allowed the first metalheads to park on the festival grounds, which still belong to the Trede family. Without him, Wacken Open Air as we know it wouldn’t exist. Thanks to his help, the festival ran smoothly in its early years and gained increasing support in Wacken.

We are deeply grateful that the next generation of the Trede family continues to support us and provide their land for the festival. Sadly, Uwe passed away in 2021. So, when you’re in Bauer Uwe’s Garden, take a moment to look up and remember him.

Whoever arrives first from your group can confirm the reservation—but only if they have everyone’s documents. Otherwise, your plots might not be placed next to each other.

You’ve booked a plot in Bauer Uwes Garten? Then you’ve automatically secured two Access Passes – worth up to €132! You’ll need to choose one arrival day per Bauer Uwes Garten Access Pass within the official opening hours.

A few additional tips:

Bauer Uwes Garten Access Passes will be available starting in spring 2025. Add them to your pitch ticket in the Wacken Ticketcenter as soon as possible. If you need more, please contact customer support.
