ANNIHILATOR “All For You”- Re-Release

“All For You“ (2004) showcases a newly formed band around mastermind Jeff Waters and song compositions that go far beyond the limits of thrash metal. Along with Jeff on this album are drummer Mike Mangini (Steve Vai, Extreme, Dream Theater) and newly discovered vocalist Dave Padden, who previously played guitar for the Canadian band THEORY OF A DEADMAN. Songs like “DR. Psycho” and the title track “All For You” with their typical ANNIHILATOR riffing plus the soulful ballads (“The One”, “Holding On”) show the immense spectrum of Jeff Waters‘ songwriting skill.

Another point Jeff would like to make: „This was the first CD feature Dave Padden. He was still very inexperienced and as a singer in search of ‘his’ voice. However just this variability is perfect from my perspective as a producer on the different characteristics of the songs on this album..“

While on their two previous albums ANNIHILATOR showed a more experimental side, 2005‘s „Schizo Deluxe“ reminded fans and critics of the classic “Alice In Hell” and “Never, Neverland” albums.
