Dark Tranquillity & Thundermother are replacing Sons of Apollo & Adler's Appetite

Sons of Apollo & Adler's Appetite have cancelled their shows at W:O:A - but we already got two replacements! We also updated the running order a little, check out the new timings for Thursday.

Dark Tranquillity

Unbelievable but true - the Melodic Death Metal pioneers Dark Tranquility have rocked Wacken only twice - until now. However, their sound and their massive influence on modern metal have always been a part of W:O:A. In 2016, the eleventh studio album of the band was released, which once again demonstrates the versatility and creativity of the band.

Thundermother

Since their appearance at last year's W:O:A Thundermother have gained even more momentum, but the basic recipe has remained unchanged: Crunchy Hard Rock riffs, a lot of energy and great shows. They released their third album earlier this year and we are happy to have them back!

We are happy about the Swedish reinforcements and are looking forward to W:O:A 2018!
