Delain, Battle Beast and Jinjer behind the 6th door

On today's St. Nicholas Day we dare a tiny statement: We don't care about your gender, we don't care about your origin. If you like metal, then you are welcome in Wacken. In front of the stage and also on stage. Every year we try to put a colourful Hard & Heavy program on stage and also 2019 will be no exception. To illustrate this there are three bands today from three countries, which serve three different genres and which don't only consist of people of the same gender. 

Delain

Symphonic Metal ala Nederland is already well represented on the W:O A with Within Tempation, but we like to add a little extra - Delain also comes to Wacken! The last time they visited us was in 2012. Welcome back!

Battle Beast

The W:O:A Metal Battle has already given some careers a big boost and also Battle Beast have massively taken off after their participation! 100% Heavy Metal - 0% Bullshit is the motto of the band and it fits like a glove.

 

Jinjer

Ukraine sends its finest Metalcore wrecking ball to Wacken! Jinjer have been making Europe insecure since 2009 and shine with their unusual mix of elements from various genres.che
