Site plans for W:O:A 2022 are available!
Created by WackenJasper
What lasts long: After several necessary last-minute rescheduling at the site (booths that have to cancel because they don't get staff and the like) we finally have a site plan for W:O:A 2022 that we can share with you.
As always, there is a General Overview Map that shows you the bigger picture and also a second plan that focuses on the event area.
The veterans among you will see straight away - there are a lot of changes!
- More space number one: Due to the relocation of Knicks, the sharing area in front of Faster and Harder Stage has grown.
- The beer garden from the Wacken Center slides into the infield, the associated Beer Garden Stage doesn't exist anymore.
- The Louder Stage now stands on the position of the former Beer Garden.
- More space number two: The Wackinger Village gets more space, because the Wasteland moves to the Camping Plaza.
- More space number three: Instead of a big tent, the W.E.T. Stage and the Headbangers Stage are now also open air stages. This will allow more visitors to watch the concerts and also reduce the risk of infection with the corona virus.
- New entrance: The entrance at the former beer garden moves to the camping area P and becomes bigger. The new location will also make it the main entrance for many visitors.
- New areas: With the Evil Residence and Farmer Uwe's Garden, there are two new areas on the campground. In addition, the Camper Park is growing.
- The Camping Plaza will be extended by the Metal Market and the Farmers Market. So shopping is starting on Monday already!
- More camping areas: Since we have had to accommodate more and more vehicles and tents for years with the same number of visitors, the need for space has increased. Therefore we have extended the camping areas to the north. Ideally, however, you will load your cars so well that the rear areas are not needed - then the distances will also be shorter for EVERYONE. The new areas have also been given a new sanitary camp.
- For various reasons, such as the currently very high risk of forest fire, the forest is unfortunately not allowed to be used by us this year.

In our already published Festival ABC you will also find all important changes explained in text form.
We hope you are as excited as we are about the changes and are looking forward to your feedback after the festival!
