Squad of Metal-Battle Finalists 2013 is complete!

The list of 29 countries which will send their Metal-Battle finalist to the international finals is now complete!

With Slovakia, India, Latvia, Russia and last but not least Germany the last five countries have crwoned thier finalists:

Midnight Scream from Slovakia was formed back in 2000 and are playing a mix of power and thrash metal.

After a lot of line-up changes in their history they gained more and more fame in their home country and played together with bands like Kreator, Edguy or Masterplan ust to name a few.

Now, after winning the Metal-Battle finals in Slovakia they are going to rock Wacken Open Air for the first time....

Devoid from India were formed in 2005 and released their debut album "A God´s Lie" in 2010. This opened a lot of doors for the band and they toured through their home country

and shared stages with bands like Cradle of Filth, Decapitated and Sybreed. 3 years later they released their newest EP "The Invasion" which was critically acclaimed and earned 6 nominations at the Rolling Stone Metal Awards 2013. Now, after the Indian Metal-Battle finals, the band prepares itself to enter the stage at the Wacken Open Air.

Asthma play old school thrash metal mixed up with death metal and were formed in 2009 in Latvia. Their first album "Most evil" was also recorded in 2009. After some line-up and style changes they recorded a new demo called "Trigger Happy" in the beginning of 2013 and won the metal-Battle finals in Latvia. Currently the band is preparing itself for Wacken 2013 to thrash the hell out of the audience.

Count to Six is the name of the Russian Metal-Battle finalist of 2013. They were formed in 2010 and gained a lot of live experience by playing together with bands like Caliban, August Burns Red or Memphis May Fire. Until now they released 2 EP´s and 2 Singles which is a lot in such a short time and they are ready to show the rest of the heavy metal world who they are. Next stop: Wacken Open Air!

JT Ripper is the last Metal-Battle finalist that was determined in this year. Formed somewhere in 2010 they knew from the beginning where the musical journey should go to: Thrash Metal!

After a lot of live gigs they recorded their first demo "Death Is Among Us" in 2012. At the German Metal-Battle finals at the Rockharz Festival they won against the competition and will now proceed to the finals at Wacken.
