The bands behind the 14th door – Heavy, Death and Industrial Metal!
Another day with three new names for 2017: Today we can announce bands for the Heavy Metal and Death Metal fans and also a special act for the Wasteland Stage.
The Metal scene in India is still growing strong, more and more bands, concerts and festivals are coming up. One of their pioneers from the scene is Kryptos, the band was found in 1998 in Bangalore. The band plays classical Heavy Metal with a little portion of Thrash Metal and they will rock W:O:A for the second time!
One of the pioneer bands of Death Metal! Possessed were part of the Death Metal scene when everything started and they had a huge influence on the entire scene. Even the name “Death Metal” was shaped by them, it was the name of their first demo back in 1984.
The band went through a few crisis, but now they are going strong again! And they will play their second W:O:A show next year!
The German Industrial Metal band Heldmaschine will join us for the first time. The band started as a Rammstein cover band called Völkerball but then they decided to write own songs too. Four albums have been released so far and they record & perform this songs under the label Heldmaschine instead of Völkerball to avoid misconceptions. And of course they are delivering a great show – a show that fits perfectly to our Wasteland Stage!
