The bands behind the 15th calendar door
The bands behind the current door at xmas.wacken.com are adding some more colors to our lineup: We can finally satisfy the friends of great parodies and fancy jokes. But we also have something special for the Metalcore fans! And last but not least we add the one and only Turbo-Polka band!
The Britisch Metalcore band Architects is getting stronger and stronger – and they will visit us for the first time ever next year! They started back in 2004 and all band members were teenagers back then, but their great talent was already obvious. This year they have released their seventh studio album and they are on fire to play more and more concerts!
The German Fun Metal band J.B.O. is active since more than a quarter-century and they are still hungry for more! They are well known for both their great cover versions of known rock, metal and pop songs but also their self-written stuff. The lyrics are basically in German, but everyone should be able to get the messages of most of the songs, even without understanding the words they sing. Check them out in Wacken, it will be fun!
Ska meets Polka, meets Rock and meets a lot of fun! The band says that they play turbo polka and this mixture for sure is simple, crazy and very successful. The Austrian have rocked many Metal crowds already and their shows in Wacken went bigger and bigger every time they hit the stage. Now they are back, get ready and shake your legs!
