Three new announcements for the first Wacken Winter Nights!

Today we can announce three more names for the upcoming Wacken Winter Nights! We have prepared one power metal band, one folk metal band and one medieval / folk rock band. And by the way: The 3 day passes will be sold out soon, so hurry up, if you want to enjoy all three days!

Orden Ogan

The power metal band Orden Ogan is a welcome guest at Wacken, they played our big summer open air for two times already. Now they will bring their melodic metal to the Wacken Winter Nights too, to stir up the festival Sunday. The last output of the band was their huge “The Book of Ogan”-box that contains 2 DVDs and 2 CDs filled with tons of material from the bands history.

Reliquiae

Reliquiae are an important part of the German medieval scene and with their rock show, they also played several metal and dark scene festivals already. They use to combine many different styles and unusual instruments and play both cover songs and self-written songs.

Vogelfrey

Many medieval rock bands are using metal and rock elements only to emphasize their darker sides. Vogelfrey are doing it the other way around - the heavy elements are often dominating the songs! The band has released three albums so far and gathered a lot of fans since their founding in 2004.
