Hallo Metalheads,
Es ist wieder Zeit für Neuigkeiten rund um das Wacken Open Air. Das 22. W:O:A steht schon fast vor der Tür und die Vorbereitungen gehen in die heiße Phase.
Das Festival ABC für 2011 ist so gut wie fertig und wird in Kürze online gehen.
Und auch die Running Ordner lässt nicht mehr allzu lange auf sich warten. Nach Ostern wird diese bei uns auf der Seite zu finden sein.
Ebenso gibt es Neuigkeiten aus dem Hause Metaltix. Hier heißt es "Metaltix goes Facebook".

W:O:A Running Order und Festival ABC
Sicherlich wartet ihr alle schon gespannt auf die nächsten Updates bezüglich der Running Order und des Festival ABCs.
Bald hat das Warten ein Ende, denn wir stehen mit den Vorbereitungen kurz vor Abschluss!
Die Running Order zeigt euch vorab, welche Band, auf welcher Bühne spielen wird.
Somit könnt ihr euch ganz in Ruhe von zu Hause aus euren Plan erstellen – um auch keine Lieblingsband zu verpassen!
Das Festival ABC enthält zu allen möglich Themen rund ums W:O:A Informationen für euch bereit.
Von A, wie Anreise bis Z, wie Zeltplatz bleiben hier keine Fragen unbeantwortet.
Und falls es doch eine Frage gibt, zu der ihr in unserem Festival ABC keine Antwort findet, sind wir telefonisch oder per Mail zu erreichen!

Nachruf – Peter Brügmann
Peter Brügmann aus Wacken, ehemaliges Teammitglied und erster Security aus den Anfangszeiten beim W:O:A Team, ist vor kurzem verstorben.
Wir trauern um unseren alten Weggefährten und wünschen seiner Familie und Freunden viel Kraft.

Nachruf - Volker Vette
Vor kurzem verstarb Volker Vette, der Leiter der W:O:A Firefighters, welcher den Musikzug über Jahre hinweg mit zu dem machte was er ist - nämlich einem der Kultacts des W:O:A´s.
Wir wünschen allen Angehörigen und Freunden viel Kraft in dieser schweren Zeit.

Devil Driver müssen W:O:A Auftritt absagen
Leider hat uns die Nachricht erreicht, dass Devil Driver ihren Auftritt auf dem diesjährigen W:O:A absagen mussten, da sie zu diesem Zeitpunkt eine US Tour spielen.

W:O:A Metal Masters – nutzt eure Chance und macht mit
Wie ihr es sicherlich in den letzten Wochen schon gehört habt, ist das W:O:A Metal Masters in vollem Gange.
Beim Video-Online Voting kämpfen junge Bands, um einen der begehrten Slots auf dem Wacken Open Air 2011.

Alle User entscheiden in der Zeit vom 02.03.2011 bis 07.06.2011 über das beste Video!

Kings of Black Metal Festival 2011
Mit hartem und brutalem Sound trifft sich Mitte April die Liga des Black Metal in Alsfeld (Hessen).
Im Zuge des Kings of Black Metal Festival 2011 werden unter anderem: Watain, Inquisition, Endstille oder Chrome Division auf der Bühne zu sehen sein.
Am 16.04.2011 werden sie mit euch die Stadthalle in Alsfeld zum kochen bringen.
Für alle die sich bereits ein Karte besorgt haben:
Die Location des Kings of Black Metal Festival wurde von Giessen nach Alsfeld verlegt!!

Most of you are already waiting for updates about the W:O:A Running Order and Festival ABC.
The preparations of both soon will be done!
If you want to know which band will plays on which stage you have to check out the running order.
Already month before the Festival starts you there will find enough information to creat your own plan for the Wacken Open Air Festival.
With it you can be sure not to miss one of your favorites Bands!
The Festival ABC gives answers to most of your questions around the festival.
There you´ll find information about things like travel or camping, but also information about renovations in 2011.
And if there are further questions who arn´t answered by the Festival ABC you can write an email or make a call!
The W:O:A Running Order and Festival ABC will be online briefly!

Obituary – Peter Brügmann
Our former team member and first security from the founding days of Wacken Open Air, Peter Brügmann, has died a short time ago.
We are mourning for our old companion and wish strength for family and friends.

Obituary - Volker Vette
Not long ago the head of W:O:A Firefighters, Volker Vette died. Over years he made the Firefighters to what they are today - a cult act of the Wacken Open Air.
We wish all strenght strength for his family and friends.

Devil Driver have to cancel W:O:A performance
Bad news today. Devil Driver had to cancel their W:O:A 2011 appearance because they are going to tour the US during that time.

W:O:A Metal Masters – use your chance and join it
As already related in last weeks the W:O:A Metal Master is in full swing.
The Metal Masters in a video online voting for young metal bands which can compete for a slot at Wacken Open Air 2011.
On www.wackentube.com all user can decide about the winning video in the period from the 2nd of March till the 7th of June.
Still to the 7th of June you´ll get the possibility to upload your video on www.wackentube.com to join the W:O:A Metal Masters!
But also the following is in demand.
You are voting for the band which achievs the win and hits the road for Wacken Open Air. Don´t miss taking the vote for your favorite band at W:O:A MEtal Masters 2011!!

Kings of Black Metal Festival 2011
With hard and brutal sound the league of Black Metal musicians get together in the middle of April in Alsfeld (Hessen).
In cause of Kings of Black Metal Festival 2011 there will be acts like Watain, Inquisition, Endstille or Chrome Division on stage.
On the 16th of April you can see them live in Stadthalle in Alsfeld.
